Today many believe that Quechua is a relic of the past confined to rural areas. It has nothing to do with the modern, technological future which we face. Especially the youth in the cities disparage their native tongue as an antiquity with no place in modern life. They say that Quechua is an embarrassment and useless in the city.

In order to change this perception, we set out to create software in Quechua. The very act of using software in Quechua is a political statement that Quechua has cultural value and a future in modernity.

Help us create this future!
